Candi Powers

My goal as Womens’ Life Coordinator is to see each lady thrive in her spiritual life while she is on campus and for the rest of her life. I desire that every female would learn deeply the things of God from His Word. I would love for every female student to grow in loving God with her mind, so that she glorifies God more delightfully with her life. I also desire to connect ladies to spiritual mentors who will help them grow in practical godliness and serve as a godly counselor even after they leave campus. Women should get involved at Southeastern because this is a unique place and time in your ministry where abundant, world class resources are available. Lifelong, life-giving ministry friendships are built here – people who will cheer you on as you are on mission for Christ for the rest of your life.

Women’s Programs at Southeastern

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary – Academics

We believe theological education is best done in a Great Commission community. At Southeastern, we are training women to surrender their lives to God’s mission in the world and prepare themselves for that mission with biblical, theological, and ministerial education in a vibrant discipling community.

Biblical Women’s Institute – Certificates

BWI at Southeastern seeks to cultivate a community of women who develop biblical knowledge, theological depth, and missional passion by providing affordable, self-paced certificates in service to the Church and fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Women Around Southeastern – Student Life

Women Around Southeastern seeks to cultivate a community of biblical, theological, and missional women who are equipped to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission. Find out more about how you can get involved with our community on campus!

The Society for Women in Scholarship – Student Group

The Society for Women in Scholarship seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by cultivating academic gifts, encouraging scholarly practices, and facilitating opportunities for women to contribute to the academy in order to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission.
